Dr. Guruprasad Narayan: is a post-graduate in anaesthesiology and has been practicing in Gadag for the past 21 years. He completed his post-graduation in the year 1993 from Mysore Medical College, Mysore. He has gained experience as a lecturer in BYL Nair hospital & Dr D Y Patil medical college, Mumbai, teaching institutions after his post-graduation. He is at present the leading and senior most practicing anaesthesiologist in Gadag. He is the consultant at various prominent hospitals across Gadag like CSI Hospital, Betageri; Vaatsalya Hospital, Gadag; Ashraya Hospital, Gadag; MGM Hospital, Gadag. He has been a visiting consultant managing peri-operative critically ill patients at CSI Hospital ICU for the past 20 years. He is an eminent speaker and has been invited as faculty for many state and national conferences. He has undergone higher specialist training in paediatric anaesthesia and is a stalwart in the practice of regional anaesthesia. He is an executive committee member representing South zone in the Academy Of Regional Anaesthesia Of India (AORA). He is also a member of the editorial board of AORA.

Dr. Renuka C Binnal: is a post-graduate in anaesthesiology. She has completed her post-graduation from JN Medical College, Belgaum in the year 2009. She has done a fellowship in cardiac anaesthesia from the same institute between 2009-10. She has gained immense experience in managing critically ill cardiac patients during her training. After completing her fellowship, she has been the consultant anaesthesiologist and intensivist at CSI Hospital Gadag for the past 5 years. During these 5 years she has managed many critically ill patients in the operation theatre as well as ICU. She is also visiting consultant at various hospitals across Gadag namely Kulkarni Hospital, Gadag ; Dr. Reshme Hospital, Gadag; Kuradagi Hospital, Gadag; etc.
Dr. Hanumant Mali: is a post-graduate in anaesthesiology. He has completed his post-graduation from JJM Medical College, Davangere in the year 2007. After completing his post-graduation he has undergone higher specialist training in paediatric anaesthesia at Wadia Children's Hospital in Mumbai. He is at present the primary consulting anaesthesiologist at Vaatsalya Hospital, Gadag; K.H Patil Hospital, Hulkoti; Huilgol Hospital, Gadag; Achar Hospital, Gadag and Rajiv Gandhi Ayurvedic Medical College, Ron. He has experience in managing neonatal emergencies & critically ill patients at Vaatsalya Hospital, Gadag
Gadag is a city located in the northern part of Karnataka state in India. Gadag has been progressing rapidly in the medical field especially in the last 10 years. Gadag has a potential to serve patients from many surrounding villages. The patient catchment area to Gadag is immense. There has been an influx of many super specialists but the necessary support system has been lacking as a result of which patients had to be shifted to other cities like Hubli or Belgaum. Keeping this in mind we , the promoters of Gadag critical care LLP decided to start a high end medical care centre for critically ill and high risk patients. The center will include an intensive care unit where patients will be monitored by intensivists round the clock and a fully equipped operation theatre .It will be run by a group of dedicated and sincere professionals who are experienced in managing high risk and critically ill patients.
Dr. Shwetha P Sankanur: has completed her M.D in anaesthesiology from JJM Medical College, Davangere in the year 2011. She was awarded the gold medal for her performance in the MD exams conducted by Rajiv Gandhi university of health sciences (RGUHS). Following her post-graduation, she has undergone ICU training at St. John’s Medical College Hospital, Bangalore. She has also worked at Health Care Global, Bangalore. She has undergone 6 months distance education course in Interventional Pain Management by Dr.Muralidhar Joshi, Hyderabad. She has worked as a consultant anaesthesiologist at District Hospital, Gadag under the NRHM scheme. She is a visiting consultant anaesthesiologist in many hospitals in Gadag and has a special interest in interventional pain management. She has gained good experience in managing critical patients in OT and ICU.
